Darby Holm began blowing glass in Southern Oregon in the Spring of 1996. Darby was originally taught the basics of glass blowing by his younger brother, Carsten Carlile. Darby is known for his leadership, his detail and his sculpting abilities. He is also known for his "Weapons of Glass Construction" and his flawless large scale sculptures. Darby's work has both balance and flow. Darby is inspired by his family, friends and fellow glass blowers.
